That's what everyone would do and no one can blame them. It is very frustrating though because again it could take for ever to sort it all out? its one long process after another. i have lived in my previous house for nearly 20 years ( am 28). the house is valved around 190k, if someone wanted to build something and was offering me 300k i would take it in a heart beat. i understand the houses near anfield wont be valued as much as other areas but surely if LFC were to offer double the going rate ( the rate in the other areas the house owners could move to ) the house holders are not being hard done. they buy new house and have a large amount left over, it sounds like a good thing to me what about if people dont want to move, what if people are old and dont want to uproot and move away from communities, neighbours and way of life, what if families have experienced births, marrages and deaths whilst they have been living in those houses, what price would you put on that. I just dont know why people should have to be bullied out of there own homes just because a billionaire franchise like FSG wont put there hand in there pocket and move into the park which happens to be in exactly the same area and a place which already has been given planning permission for a new stadium.

Everyone who owns a house there will have their own preference and there may still be people who where born in the house or have lived there their whole lives for whom it may be a wrench, the house I was born in was compulsory purchased and I have to say my family and I were gutted, we were thrown out of our community not just our house my parents never recovered from it on reflection. So I can understand those that dont want to leave.

I see your point Prophet, I know some will hang on to be awkward or get a higher price but if your present family and past generations have lived in the same house and its been passed on then its hard to accept change, it may be more of a disaster for the older generation to accept because we have to remember the community spirit of their neighbourhood, this can be under valued by some people. When my parents where forced out of their past down home a place that we had all been born in they were very upset and never settled elsewhere again, in fact they were both dead within 8 years of leaving, they were very unhappy the whole time, missing there friends and other family members. It depends on the individual but some are/will be effected more than others, Anfield looks terrible to those outside yet still some of those that live there see it as home. i would look at it as a plus to relocate but i understand the upset it can cause too.

So you think it's all a business decision and the psychological issue of retaining our hallowed ground doesn't come into it? Stuff our hallowed ground its in the wrong place and needs bulldozing and a new stadium built. If I had my way it would be at Speke with motorway and airport / rail connections but thats another story. This spiritual home stuff is sentimental garbage by people who generally don't know the local area and its transport links.
