I just don't see the point in bashing Dalglish anymore. He did well for the club - made some mistakes - just let it be!
I would like nothing better to put all the Dalglish thing out of the way unfortunately due to all the damage he caused while he was here our current manager is paying the heavy price with a near impossible job to do, this is why Dalglish and his mistakes keep cropping up.

I don't see it that way. Adam is gone - Spearing and Carroll are loaned out and probably will be sold. Cole, Downing and Enrique look like being shipped out soon. And Hendo is in his rightful place as cover. There are a lot of exciting new players and prospects... and in many respects the future looks bright. Harping on about Kenny's transfer window is a waste of time and energy.

You are right. This season we have an improved squad as the deadwood has been shipped out and replaced + with a much much better manager we would definitely improve our position over last year.

No problem at all if you think harping on about Dalglish's transfer window is pointless, I will be watching your opinions come January to see if you complain that Rogers does'nt have a pot to p*ss in because there is no money similary to when we could'nt afford Dempsey, all due to the previous managers incompetence and wastefulness.

A large number of fans may have had kenny as their first 'choice' but that doesn't mean it was their decision to appoint him. FSG wouldn't have appointed kenny just because the fans wanted him and they wouldn't have given him so much money if they weren't sure about him and only wanted him as interim. The point I am making is that kenny was 100% FSG's decision and so is Brendan which is why brendan will be judged in the same way as kenny was. He'll need to get the results or he'll be on his way. There certainly won't be any 2 or 3 years grace for brendan like some people have suggested.

So what would be an acceptable year for a new manager to avoid the sack in your opinion or is it just a case of sacking all that try until Rafa gets the job?

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Don't be silly.

I don't know how long is the 'right' amount of time to persevere with a manager - there are a lot of things to take into consideration. One thing that Brendan must do though is to start getting results. Kenny was quite rightly sacked for an abysmal season and any manager should treated the same way and measured in the same way. All this talk of needing a lot of time to get used to the new system is just Brendan's way of buying himself time...

Tottenham have got a new manager and new players and they haven't sunk well below where they were last year
West Brom - ditto.
Swansea - ditto.

Why are LFC fans so gullible as to accept these excuses of needing time? Yes, i know it's a 'journey' because brendan said so - which is just another way of saying "leave me alone for a year or two no matter how bad things get". BR has cleared out what he would define as deadwood and brought his own players in. The only things that have changed is that we have a much dodgier defence than last year. He hasn't re-invented football and our 'new way of playing' is nothing more than passing the ball out from the back to avoidthe risk of losing possession when you play it long. So far I wouldn't call that a success.

Unless we're in a relegation fight I don't think BR will be sacked just yet. But he has to start getting results. The club needs more than 'good possession' or 'attractive football'.
