the stat means nothing to me, most the games we prob won were when we dropped luis cause the other team were crap anyway. how many top 6 teams we beat without or with him? This. Even the commentator said it the other day, we have won more cup games then league games this season and add the fact we were in 2 finals last year, we probably won more last year too. Most of those games were without Suarez and Gerrard.

If the answer is to drop him based n that stat then its madness. Stats are also based on historic data. The next 12 months tactics wise will be nothing like the past 12. I personally think Suarez is our best and only world class player.

He was bought to supply Torres. Sadly , we'll never know how good they could of been together.

Stats are not meant to be used to judge players except as part of an overall assessment. The problem imo is that we're using a playmaking forward as our main striker, despite ample evidence that Suarez is not good at scoring goals even though he scores good goals, but so do many defenders and midfielders. Suarez needs to be played as a forward player in conjunction with a top goal poacher, and even then he needs to tweak his game some and look for passing opportunities much more than he does, this is something for BR to sort out, if and when we sign a striker, in the meantime I'd try either Borini or Gerrard in the centre with Suarez out wide.

Agree, but I think he would be more effective in a 4-4-2 system playing with a true striker in a forward 2. I think he was initially bought to play with Torres, but we'll never know. Not sure if he would be as effective as a winger.

Liverpool have won 35.4% of PL games Luis Suarez has started, compared to 54.5% without him. interesting stat.
