Liverpool have won 35.4% of PL games Luis Suarez has started, compared to 54.5% without him.

so what is the answer? drop him? . i think that stst would massively improve if we had a good CF and we played suarez as a wide forward or given the freedoom to roam

As frustrating it is sometimes to watch him he is our only option unless you want to play that young german or Morgan. I blame whoever job it was that was suppose to sign us a striker before the window ended, not Suarez who has scored 6 goals already this season and looks like heading to a 20+ goal season.

It would be crazy to drop him,
He needs a striking partner that will actually help to share the goalscoring load.
He cant do it all on his own.

I can't help but feel we may be better off without him. He is a fantastic player however his selfishness in the final third whilst sometimes brilliant usually ends up in the ball being turned over as he attempts to take on half the opposing team. I wish there was a statistic on how often he looks up when he has the ball as I'm sure it would be far less then 35%.

A prime case of when a stat means nothing

Drop Suarez and our only world class player is gone

I will listen, only if your answer contains wisdom

How does the stat mean nothing? It means nothing because you don't want to accept it or criticise him, because he's our only world class player. That's the problem you see. Think about it.

the stat means nothing to me, most the games we prob won were when we dropped luis cause the other team were crap anyway. how many top 6 teams we beat without or with him?
