I think we can only hope Sahin falls in love with the club and supporters to make his move permanent, which lets be honest wont be hard to do. He's at a great club with fans who know a good player when they see one. With BR at the helm maybe just maybe he could push through a move. Be nice if his mate Alonso would come join him too! wink

I think he mentions that in his first interview that they talk a lot so most likely they are close friends.

Some good performance's from our "youngstars" have been amazing, A real credit to our academy.

We have a few injury's for some of our usual first team players which has given the opportunity to some of these young players to play for the senior side. I don't think that many if any have let themselves or the club down.

For me the one who looked like he could make the jump up and feature straight away was Assaidi, This kid looks like a total steal for the money!

Assaidi - Suarez - Sterling

That front three would send shivers down the spine of any defense in the league...

Here we go people! Our Season..... STARTS NOW!!

We have 4 or 5 youngsters which are quite capable of donning the Liverpool shirt and have the confidence to play.

Wisdom, Suso, Robinson, Yesil and Sterling who's keeping Downing out the first team! wink

Plus we have Agger, Lucas and Kelly to come back brings some of our depth back into the mix.

Hopefully they can all kick on from here and put us in a decent position come January.

Let's stick together, This season's not always going to be plain sailing but I have a great feeling about this young team which is being developed at the moment.

No. The season started nearly 2 months ago. You are right it won't be plain sailing this season, and you are also right we need to stick together and not be overly critical of what happens, but we also need to not live in cloud cuckoo land and say the season starts now after ever half decent performance. It puts too much pressure on the team, and also sets things up for a potential fall if we don't kick on immediately.

We are in transition, some things are positive, plenty are negative. Let's just see how it goes and where we are at the end of the season. We need balance. We need 'season starts now' rubbish as much as we need constant criticism after every draw or loss.

Dortmund won the league three years after finishing 13th and almost being under administration.

Cue new manager, youth team, etc.

Not that the situations are entirely similar (especially because I think expectations are a lot higher at LFC), but it goes to show that with belief in the system and talented youngsters, you can indeed go very far.
