There is only two days between this last match and Saturday's so I don't expect to see too many of the same players. Sahin & Assaidi may be given a rest since they played the full 90. They could make sub appearances. I actually wouldn't be surprised at all if Suso starts this Saturday.

This is pretty exciting actually, for the first time I can remember we have several talented young players who could all start. I remember when I saw Sterling walk out of the tunnel for the Man City game and I almost choked on my coffee. We used to be able to spit out the starting 11 in out sleep. Now? Who knows who will start.

I can see Suso starting instead of Borini. I'd like to see Sahin in for Shelvey. If not him then who? confused

Other than that, I think we could accurately predict the other 9 starters for the Norwich game.

I've seen Ibe a few times on the tele. He looks very promising also. Quick, positive, direct, good on the ball.

We seem to be unearthing first team ready youngsters at will. I had never heard of Wisdom a week or two ago but he looks like an £8m left back. And this Sinclair lad who’s he how old is he 12? But I tell you what his first touch was good not ready yet but it won’t be long. Who’s next?

Not sure whether it’s Kenny / Rafa or Rodgers influence / management or all three.

But whatever it is I am pretty excited.

I wouldn't say any of them have shown themselves to be first team ready at a top 6 club. But the signs are promising I agree. Shelvey has been my favourite. He's all action. I strongly believe he's incredibly well suited to the PL and will just get better and better.

dont want to say anything negative about the amazing crop of young talent weve got coming through just hope they dont think were going nowhere and jump ship.coz if they can see the bigger picture in what rogers is doing they,ll realise that were on a long but very rewarding journey.fsg,s failure in the transfer window will be a blessing in disguise coz its given this amazing crop of youngsters a chance which theyve taken with both hands.

I am not convinced about this yet. These youngsters have been developing with the managers of the younger teams, they did not develop in what they are in a couple of weeks. We'll see how they are being used and adapting in the games to come. Stevie G was brought in the first team by Houllier. Kelly, Shelvey, Robinson and even Sterling (briefly though) were introduced by KD, but, it did not work out for Flano and Spearing. Yesterday, though i did not watch the whole game, i understand the youngsters were good and i would like this to continue.
