Sahin looks like the most cultured midfielder we've had since Alonso. I loved watching him tonight... hope he stays in the first team.
it was only a matter of time until he makes the 1st team. we paid a big loaning fee for him ( if reports are to be believed) . his been out injured most of last season so we didnt want to put too much pressure on him, let him get his fitness and sharpness back in his own time

I think he would have been in the first team had Shelvey not had a couple of decent performances early doors. But I think Sahin is a smarter player than Shelvey and should keep his place.
i think different players really. sahin is more about technic and composure/carm where as shevely is more heart, determination and hunger. sahin can control the midfield were as shevley cant(not now anyway but his got a few years to go yet)

From what I understand Sahin tired a fair bit towards the end of the game so maybe his fitness will not last the entire game. He may start but ased on comments about him tiring, will prbably get subbed. From the small amount of the game that I've seen he certainly has some quality about him.

the Yesil strike was really good but Foster had so much luck to bounce it over the bar

I just finished watching the game on dvr. I am speechless. I thought perhaps the way some of these guys played in the United game came from pure emotion of ther moment. This team tonite looked like it could do United at Old Trafford. Like the way Brad Jones bounced back and made some big saves. Only negative I can think of was how slow these guys made 5 yard look.

There are a handful of guys who have shown more these last 2 games than Downing and 5 yard have shown since they have been here. B.R. has to unleash these guys on the league doesnt he?

Have been waiting for this for a long time. The credit has to go to a lot of people like McFarland, saguaro , rodolfo , Rafa and the king. But you can see that Rodgers has been the missing piece. The confidence he has instilled in the youngsters is amazing to say the least. The future is bright

Rodgers has been working with youngsters most of his managerial career so he understands them very well and has a lot of faith in them. Good recipe for success in terms of our young guns.
