We had a tough first 5 games in the league, I admit we should be on at least 4 points minimum, But the players are looking like they are starting to mold into a team.

Some good performance's from our "youngstars" have been amazing, A real credit to our academy.

We have a few injury's for some of our usual first team players which has given the opportunity to some of these young players to play for the senior side. I don't think that many if any have let themselves or the club down.

For me the one who looked like he could make the jump up and feature straight away was Assaidi, This kid looks like a total steal for the money!

That front three would send shivers down the spine of any defense in the league...

Here we go people! Our Season..... STARTS NOW!!

We have 4 or 5 youngsters which are quite capable of donning the Liverpool shirt and have the confidence to play.

Wisdom, Suso, Robinson, Yesil and Sterling who's keeping Downing out the first team!

Plus we have Agger, Lucas and Kelly to come back brings some of our depth back into the mix.

Hopefully they can all kick on from here and put us in a decent position come January.

Let's stick together, This season's not always going to be plain sailing but I have a great feeling about this young team which is being developed at the moment.

Yeah fully agree with all that KP, we should make a big effort to sign Nuri Sahin on a long term contract, would hate to see him go back at the end of the season and watch him being signed by Arsenal or Chelsea or worse still Man U.
In any case I'm happy with the direction BR is taking us in and the football is a lot easier on the eye, if we keep the faith I believe the goals will come, though I'd love to see a top striker come in in Janurary.

think if Sahin improves too much it will go against us signing him as the big Clubs will be in for him, catch 22 situation for us really as we want him to play well but if he does it will mean him leaving at the end of the season.

I think we will be sayin season starts now a lot this year. im writing this year off to be honest already. think we gotta give brendan at least three summers to sort this team ojt.

3 summers is quite a bit of time and with some of the talent that has already been shown and given a chance i don't think it will take that long. Whilst I agree we need strength in our depth we should be able to spend more on a few better quality players because the depth is now being grown from our youngsters.

I truly believe that with the signing of decent striker in January and a couple of high quality players coming in during the summer we will ush very hard for top 4 next season and challenge for the title the following season.

Bold prediction I must admit but believe it to be possible.

Three summers to do what exactly? Win the league? And what is writing this year off, not relegation I hope.

Nope just writing it off in terms of CL. ee are light years away from winning league. spose thre point i was making is rodgers needs years to implement the style he wants this is no quick fix. i agree a few decent additions a goalie centre back and a decent striker then we can hit top four.

Top four has to be the goal within the next two to three seasons then once there we can start competing for bigger names
