I think we've found a gem in this lad.

I can't remember the last time we had a winger who had genuine pace and bags of tricks. He caused problems down the left flank all evening. And what a great assist for our 2nd goal. Seems like a long time ago when the opposition would put 2 men on our player the moment he got the ball. The last time it happened was during Macca days?

Future's looking bright.

i agree looked great about time we had a winger who aims to beat a man instead of cutting back or inside and playing a simple ball i think he should start against norwich,
the way he runs at his man will worry most teams really excited about this guy

Downing is as good as scrap, Swansea at home in the next round. Genuinely excited about Assaidi he can run at serious pace with the ball at his feet we could be a huge threat with him and Sterling on the wings. Only thing is im not sure that system would work with Suarez up top but we'll see.

Andy Carrol would love him.he does look a very good player,he ripped there right back to pieces.

Few knew this player when we signed him which sometimes can be a fantastic thing as there is no expectations surrounding him to suceed, his fee was 2-3m which is nothing in today's age. Has all the right ingredients to succeed so good luck to him.

never thought of that angle. that could work out really well. if we get carroll back in january (which i think we need to simply because we need as many players as we can get and i do happen to like him as a player) assaidi could serve him well, i think.

he is my kind of player, pacey and likes to take on defenders. its a joy to watch players like him. its only one game but from what i saw today i would say his the best dribbler in our team and then followed by sterling
