The problem is that we are at the start of a journey. Rogers has a football philosophy, and the majority of the team did not fit this.
Rogers brought in his wreaking ball and broke up the squad. His vision is a longer term plan and is not designed to bring instant success. It needs to be built.
A long term plan to turn us into Swansea City by taking their players and emulating their style of play..... There's no 'philosophy' - don't be fooled by the soundbites or salesmanship he used to get the job. He wants better players than we had and he wants to win more games. Pretty basic stuff. I'm not sure if that puts him 'up there' with Aristotle or Nietzsche!

You don't get points by 'outplaying' teams (whatever that actually means). i meant liverpool were outplayed , and they let in 3 goals, i fail to see how some1 could think that liverpool deserved 3 pts from that game

A plan that lives within your means and continue to grow and move forwards, take time to reap rewards.
He knows he can't get all the players he wants, and he knows that even if he did they would not fit together straight away.
The strategy of getting value from players fits into Rogers B$, so we the fans need to be patient and go along for the ride. I may not agree with everything (e.g. the system) but I am fully supportive and want to be proven wrong.

If you take away the goals. Liverpool could have easily been winning the first half. They scored against the run of play. Agger was sent off, again against the run of play and then we faded with 10 men. A draw would have been an opportunity missed by West Brom but they would have seen it as getting a point and would have been happy. Hence a draw could have been fair. Being outplayed at the end is hardly a reflection of the whole match.
