Suso
Suso signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2010 from his hometown club Cadiz, rejecting Barcelona and Real Madrid in the process, saying "I was going to sign for Real Madrid but one day before it the phone rang and Rafael Benitez spoke to me. He convinced me that Liverpool was the club for me and after that I had to change my plans. I was going to come to Liverpool."
Sterling
Sterling was signed in February 2010 by Rafa Benítez for an initial fee of £600,000, but this could rise to £5 million depending on how many appearances he makes for the first-team.
Shelvey
Liverpool have signed the 18-year-old from Charlton in a £1.7 million deal. Shelvey holds the record as Charlton's youngest ever player, having made his debut in April 2008 at the age of 16 years and 59 days. The England youth international has scored eight goals in 48 games for the League One club.
Having already signed QPR's Raheem Sterling, aged 15, earlier this season, Benitez said he has a number of other young, British players lined up to sign in the near future.
