The solution to our problem is one person.....KLAAS JAN HUNTELAAR...I feel once we start scoring and winning games, then Reina would get better and when he gets better, there would be less mistakes in our defense and when that happens,Suarez would pass more and when that happens,Stevie,Jonjo and everybody else will look great out there and we would not miss Andy that much. so lets start a movement....OPERATION SIGN HUNTELAAR!!!! ynwa

so lets get it right, Huntelaar will leave a top German side who usualy plays in the Champions League to sign for a mid table English Premier League side who year after year now is touch and go wether it qualifies for the Europa League, good look with that one...

I agree, though. Huntelaar would probably be a good signing if he didn't get a long term contract.

i think llorente in january with 6 months left on his contract, or possibly walcott if he doesn't sign either, are the more likely targets.

i agree with your thinking though, we need a quality finisher. look at arsenal last season with RVP. he was on fire. they manage to year after year out play themselves after selling their best players.

i think a striker like that can turn a half decent side into a very good one. everton look so much more confident since signing jelavic. even when we signed torres, his goal scoring prowess took us from a top five club to a top two club.

a clinical striker can pay huge dividends. it's finding the right player though. dont think we'd go for huntelaar but there are some top players out there we can attract providing the owners are prepared to part with the cash. after all we managed to land suarez so surely the club must have some pulling power in the transfer market.

spurs are managing to bring in some top players and they aren't playing champions league football either.

I wonder what the price tag on Llorente would be in January. They wanted 28 million for him in this window.

I would not like to see Walcott, as I think he's overrated.

Llorente or that Brazilian dude we were looking at, Damiao. That might work out nice for us. Having said that, I think a lot of teams would like to sign both.

Right now, anybody who can score goals will be a solution as except for Suarez (despite missing tons before scoring a couple) we don't have much. Can you believe this?

However, would BR consider KVH? I don't know as it looks like he pays significant transfer fees only for players he knows inside out (Allen, Borini), else he doesn't want to take too much risks, ie, loans, small fees. I understood (don't know how true this is) he wanted to consider Sturridge on loan only. Is there a good striker, bar Michu, at Swansea? May be he would be the target.
