I started following football during the 2006 world cup. Coming from a rugby mad country I always though that football was a soft game. But at the time I was living with some guys who were fans and watched the games, so I gave it a chance. For some reason I liked Portugal because of Figo, and Ranaldo, who I said would be awesome one day.
From there I watched the CL, first game I watched was the 1-1 draw of us against PSV. so from there I watch more games, stayed up late to get into it more. I didn't have a eam for a while, I'm not to sure why. I was open to the game and started to love it.
Eventually I just liked Liverpool. To this day I can't really explain why. Maybe it was watching those European nights on tv, maybe it was Gerrard. Sometimes a club just appeals. I can't really be a glory hunter because we haven't really won anything since I started to follow.
I'm very obsessed now, have been for years now.
