Hopefully I can make it there in the future, but anyways given my background I see nothing wrong with the show.

I know a lot of you grew up with the "behind closed doors" mentality but to be honest I don't feel like this violates that. Granted there has only been one episode, but so far Rodgers is not giving away his strategies for each match or anything of that nature. To me it just seems like a show that will give us an intro into the players lives, a view at what it looks like inside Melwood, and a few moments of Rodgers giving an inspirational speech. After watching the first episode I didn't see anything that gave away the preparation of the team for matches or dealing with transfers and contracts.

Also, I don't know how sports work in England, but over here you can't watch a game that doesn't show the manager's prep talk before the game or at half time. We even have a sports reporter talk to each manager at the end of half time to get his (or her) thoughts on how the 1st half went. So all in all given the response from most of you, this seems like a show that's targeted to the American fans and I can tell ya that none of us think anything is "wrong" or "abnormal" about showing behind the scenes footage. In fact, how upset some you are about it is actually strange to me. I guess it all depends on where you're sitting.
4 years my mate what went before ?

To be honest I had no idea what the Premier League was before that. I liked watching the World Cup but that was the extent of my knowledge.

Yeah, we haven't done too well in the past couple of seasons so I get that. As for the rest of what you said I have no idea what any of that means laugh

I don't see any problem with a documentary about the club and what is happening within the club so long as our transfers (or lack of) are kept behind closed doors.
In Australia at both AFL and NRL games there is footage in the rooms before the game, interviews with coackes and players whilst they leave the field or half time and it for those who can't be at the game it gives a real sense of being there and experiencing it live.
We are now in an era of transperancy and this sort of thing gives the fans, especially the new ones or those that don't live in Liverpool an opportunity to get a sense of what Liverpool is about and ties them the wee bit closer to the club.

Hardly any good footage - lots of repeated non-distinct shots from games - and not the inspiring programme it could have been. I know this was 'dumbed down' for the American sports audience but so far they have missed an opportunity to introduce our club to that culture. Normally stories of our exploits made the hair on your neck stand up but this was all sort of blah! Hope part 2 gets better.

Spot on. I found it very boring but at least it can only get better.

I think your comments to Solar lads are really nasty.

Here's a lad from a continent away who has decided at the tender age of 20 to follow premiership football and he has chosen well in Liverpool FC.

He posts on here regularly and has a good knowledge of the club and one day I am sure he will vist the fantastic city of Liverpool with all its history and the waterfront and then pay a visit to L1 and see Anfield and Goodison seperated by Stanley Park.

What the F*CK is wrong with that ?

Very disappointed with some of the comments.

Vietnam is Solar's personal fault and he should be admonished for not supporting Liverpool before he was 20. And generally I thought the tone was wrong he was a lad trying to understand the mindset over here and putting his outlook in a friendly way and he was slapped down. Did not think it was nice.

And it was Solar that hunted out the film of everton last night which was good of him.

Cut the guy some slack on this.
