Whatever you think of the mail as a paper for me they have the best sportswriter by a mile Martin Samuel. He has won various awards. Read his analysis of Henry our very own owner / manager. Mistake after mistake and managed by secret advisers. Take the time to read this article and you will see clearly why Liverpool are not going to get into the champions league while we have this owner. We were told how great were FSG as owners with their success in the US with Redsox. As a businessman I can say the first rule of any business, any business IS KNOW YOUR MARKET. FSG and Henry are no further on in that than the first day they took over. this is why BR should resign, i know he made a commitment to the likes of Allen and would feel guilty resigning but for me he has no choice. his reputation is ruined , players won't trust him..he'd be like i so want to sign you, and the player will go oh yeah, what about the committee of sports advisors will they want me too. no thanks , dempsey nearly ruined his rep in doing what he did ,then to be told that some sport advisor thinks he would just cement mid-table. FSG can [oops] right out of this club, the sooner the better.

Rodgers in the recruitment process refused to join LFC unless he had free rein and would not work with a director of football. Which is exactly what henry's advisers are except for the knowing about football bit. I hope he does not resign because I think he could be a good manager but clearly in his comment "operational issues need to be resolved" there is a problem. But the general point of the article is what does FSG get right mistake after mistake. They are clueless and leading this club to oblivion.

clueless, yes but they will just sack some more sports advisors and get some new ones. then follow them down new clueless paths.
it also seems pretty abvious that martinez smelt a rat too and ran. if managers like him are staying with wigan rather than joining us then we are screwed. BR thought he had control but he has nothing.

We know what to expect for the next 2 seasons now sure but i think the best thing BR could ever do for this club is to resign now. if he does that FSG are finished,have to sell by xmas. then force the new owners to re-hire him and support him in the transfer market rahter than treat him like some kid that doesn't know what he is doing. according to FSG BR's transfer policy is geared for cementing mid-table, so why the F they appoint him then????
