Better than Borini maybe? That's certainly debatable..
Trouble is he is not a #9 striker, which is what we need. We don't have one...
Sturidge is a glory boy who much like Suarez doesnt score enough.. Except Sturidge is half the player Suarez is.
So you feel we are better off right now with AC on loan and nobody replacing him? Do you think Adam M is better than Sturridge? If I had a choice between nobody and Sturridge I would go for the latter. If I had no money to spend I would have kept AC, but, BR knows best. He would be judge at the end of the season, not me. Not at all, We have given a player away, Well given our plan B away for a year and nobody came in, So that makes us weaker as a team. But I just don't rate glory boy Sturidge. Did you see him for Team GB? Did he even score? He can't pass to save his life and has an awful shot.

Well, it is indeed all over as far as Michael Owen is concerned, because he's just signed for Stoke... Best news I've heard this season.

Well, it is indeed all over as far as Michael Owen is concerned, because he's just signed for Stoke... Rather see Morgan, Yesil, Assaidi and Pacheco given a chance than Owen anyway. Will any of them score the goals we need so badly though?

We won't know if they will unless they are given a chance! Just because they are not proven doesn't mean they cannot prove themselves!

Saw him play better than Torres at Chelsea scoring a few under AVB. Didn't watch the team GB games though, thought he was injured. In any case, my main problem is, I don't understand how we are going to manage with only sort of 2 strikers in 4 competitions, especially if one gets injured. It is a huge joke even mis-management whoever is guilty. This will come to haunt us.

don't forget that we can always play gerrard behind a main striker if we need to, giving us an extra option.
