you could look and look but i doubt you would find such a video of voronin in your lifetime.... wink

as i'd say, i've seen this player many times and he is a very good player. i don't know if i'm interested in what he does when we don't have the ball. we have enough of kuyts and lucas' in our team....we need creativity.

No doubt we need creativty but we need players to put a shift in as well. Yossi is a creative player but does his fair share of work off the ball as well. The last thing we need is a primadonna who shrugs his arms in the air when he/we lose the ball.

i agree. but this guy is not a primadonna. he wouldn't have been the captain in atletico if he was. he may not put in the work kuyt is doing but who does?

If he does sign I really hope he does convince me otherwise.

Lets give him a chance. They are all equal until we can see what they do in a red shirt. Then judge him. I for one (like many others) thought Keane would be a great signing for us and look how wrong I was.

I imagine we'll get rid of Dossena and Voronin for sure given the opportunity.

Babel, depends if anyone will offer £9m and if Babel will accept the offer. I think on balance he'll stay until the summer.

I think Maxi will be the only signing though I think we need cover for Torres.

Apparently we're already looking at the signings for the summer...

Guillem Balague's website reports in last 10 minutes...

http://www.guillembalague.com/rumores_desp.php?titulo=Maxi+on+verge+of+agreeing+Liverpool+deal&id=256

"The Atletico Madrid midfielder Maxi Rodriguez now appears to be very close to finalizing a transfer to Liverpool and has been left out of the Spanish club`s squad ahead of Wednesday`s Cup tie against Recreativo. As we reported earlier, the situation has been moving quickly today and the final details on a two and a half year deal at Anfield are close to being agreed.
The 29 year old Argentine midfielder has spoken with both Javier Mascherano and Fernando Torres and is incredibly excited about the move while also being aware that he will be competing with Dirk Kuyt for a starting berth on Liverpool`s right flank. However, with a place in Diego Maradona`s World Cup at stake, Maxi is confident that he will be seeing plenty of action for Liverpool.

Rodriguez will cost Rafa Benitez around £1.5 million and players will be leaving Anfield this January: as has been reported elsewhere, Dossena is close to agreeing the switch to Napoli, while rumours are surfacing that Ryan Babel is a possible target for both Birmingham and Tottenham."
