Finger pointing won't solve the problem but it makes me feel better. I know sturrage was sanction but if rodgers did not want him on a perm thats good enough for me. We have to trust Rodgers judgement.

We have to trust Rodgers judgement. Absolutely. 100%. And also imo, the fact that BR thought Clint Dempsey was worth £6m should have been enough for him to not be overruled by FSG and their limited knowledge of football. That's what happened though. I'm still furious about it, as are you and lots more fans, but there's nothing we can do about it now. We have very little options available, and those seem to be; sign someone like Michael Owen on a short term deal or give youth a chance.

Theres plenty we can do about it bar withdraw our spend. Unfortunetly I have paid for this prem season but had enough with giving my money to spivs who are raping the club. And as for merchandise ha ha ha. Hitchai shirt 1981 more than good enough my belly might stick out but so what? I paid good money for that belly.

Spain won with no strikers, and BR was at their training camp. 2+2= 324175879 Exactly and Pacheco has the required physical attributes for Tiki Taka. Not being a good striker is secondary as long as he can Tiki Taka.

I do not buy that they would have sanctioned the Sturridge deal... No way!
BR was right to want him hear for a year first on loan. Looking after our best interests. Loan with a option to buy would have been best for the glory boy..
Either way, Tom Werner is responsible for this a Chief Exec or Director or whatever title he gave himself.
He is torn between the two the Red Sox and us. Tom is always the man in front of the camera whereas John "Sit on my arse" Henry gets his henchmen to do the dirty work...

Maybe our manager needs to work for a long time with a player before buying (unless it's low prices). Very low risk and cautious approach, which is good, however, how many players is he going to get like this. If that is true, for me it would mean he needs to grow in experience.

Better than Borini maybe? That's certainly debatable..
Trouble is he is not a #9 striker, which is what we need. We don't have one...
Sturidge is a glory boy who much like Suarez doesnt score enough.. Except Sturidge is half the player Suarez is.

So you feel we are better off right now with AC on loan and nobody replacing him? Do you think Adam M is better than Sturridge? If I had a choice between nobody and Sturridge I would go for the latter. If I had no money to spend I would have kept AC, but, BR knows best. He would be judge at the end of the season, not me.

Well, it is indeed all over as far as Michael Owen is concerned, because he's just signed for Stoke...
