their net spend is not all that impressive and they have cut the wage bill down to nothing. we have no number 9.we have 19 players in the squad and a lot of them are youngsters.

Very similar post to someone who got booted not long back. Can't think of his name.

We can't be replacing or even wanting to replace a managr that's had no time to get his philosophy across. Give him time. And it's not his fault the owners have tightened their belts after the frivolous way money was wasted by the last manager.

Net spend is irrelevent. If i had a BMW and sold it for £20,000, then gave it to someone to buy me a new car and they bought me a run down fiesta, my net spend would be 0 but i'd still be reluctant to give them money to buy me anything again. The fact is £110 mill was wasted.

I think they took a gamble spending the money hoping to get into the champions league, and since it didnt happen they've had to tighten things up.

Calling for a new manager every 3 months is not the answer. Try to think before you post... just a little bit.

+1

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

Way too early, can't believe there are actually people wanting BR sacked already. I'd have still gave KD another season. So I'd at least give BR a couple of seasons to get his tactics going

I reckon things will get worse before they get better. Nothing inherently wrong with that. At least BR has a plan, a vision, etc. Kenny had none of that. He was a stop-gap, nothing more. Why the owners trusted him with so much money in the first place, given that he was never going to be a long-term option, I'll never know. Really, they shot themselves in the foot with that one. So for them to turn on the fans like that is really inexplicable. I think we have every right to be concerned by the fact that we couldn't come up with another £1 or 2 million to get Dempsey after the massive spending that took place last year.

I don't think dempsey would have suddenly made us world beaters.
I prefer to bring in the youth and wait for January.

Raheem has given me big hope for the future.

Nor do I. But the fact that we couldn't find a few extra pennies for him has me a little concerned. He would certainly be an improvement over Borini.
