right instead of having fifty transfer threads maybe lets try keep it in one thread for the month? i know it will fail miserably, because some skins just log on and post stuff up without reading any other threads.

Dossenna is being held as a 7 million quid hostage it would seem.

So to update everyone our lack of depth could of been solved for 0 pounds 0 pence as Goran Pandev and Luca Toni were both available for free. Instead Pandev is an Inter and Toni went to Inter. Good to see with Parry gone were not letting stars slip through our fingers

there's always that added factor that some players may not want to come to england, and they have free choice on a free rather than being shipped about on a money transfer.

good thing we didn't sign luca toni. not the same player he used to be and lately he's had huge disciplinary issues...

pandev would have been a good signing though...

still i think maxi could be a good signing but fingers crossed that we can get at least one out of arda turan and moses...

this "dossena to napoli" saga is starting to get really boring....it's the same thing every week. he's close to joining them, then the next day a deal looks impossible. hopefully we'll just get rid of him. swap him for maxi or whatever...

The transfer market seems particularly mad at the moment. Doessena for £5-7m? An alleged opening offer for Babel of £8m? Yet Leeds have placed the princely sum of £2m on Jermaine Beckford's head, and Newcastle are hot favourites to sign him as they are willing to pay £3m. Surely at that price he's worth a punt, and even we could afford it? I'd sure prefer him to five Babels, Voronins or El Zhars! Approaching his peak at 26, is tall, strong, quick, has a fantastic scoring record in the lower leagues and certainly looked comfortable against ManUre on Sunday. I'd welcome him.
