yep but that won't happen with rafa in charge...it looks like rafa wants to spend £4m on a greek right back and i can't understand why. we have carra, darby and kelly who can fill in for johnson...it will be a total waste of money just like the kyrgiakos deal was...

i think darby was much better yesterday than he was against fiorentina...i would rather go with him or carra (if kelly still is injured) than spending 4m on someone who will play 2 or 3 games before johnson is back again...

he spent 2,5m on a cb who was only needed for one game (bolton away) instead of showing some faith in ayala...

I don't mean we should look at nobody, but I would rather sell some players and buy better or use the young players than enter a situation were Torres gets injured and we are stuck with Heskey or Carew up front for the rest of the season.

I agree. If he pays £4m for a right back that won't play instead of on someone we actually need ten he should be sacked on the spot!

damn straight pacheco should be getting more opportunities. i wouldn't play voronin or babel ever again. i don't rate ngog either. i think carew would represent i decent threat for the meagre funds we have. and the opportunities to back up or rest torres, come on as sub or to be given the odd chance to lead the line should be split between pacheco ro carew.

to be honest if carew is what we are eying up then how major has been our fall.
