Just been to Spar all I wanted was my Daily Mail and a Whisper Bar. Massive queue eventually got to the front and this woman was before me. After scanning the items the shop assistant announced that would be £12.48. The woman went ohh!! expressing surprise there was a bill for the items she was intending to buy. Having recovered from this unexpected event she then starts rummaging through her bag for her purse this took about a minute. Then she says she does not want the sausages so the assistant then has to credit the item etc another minute gone. Then she asks the assistant for 20 Bensons and then about a tenners worth of a scatchcards instead of indicating that at the outset which would have more efficiently carried out the overall transaction. I had a good glare along with the other 20 people in the queue.
