I personaly think the City and Arsenal games are not so important and we can afford to lose them and it would'nt harm our season as results against these teams wont define our season whereas beating rivals around us and doing well in the Cups is what our season is based on. I think we have a slight chance of catching Arsenal on Sunday more so than City and feel our chances will of improved if we had rested key players so we could of focussed soley on that game but instead we are left with work to do against Hearts which as we know will be a real physical encounter, just think it's a bit needless if Rogers had fielded more first teamers in the first leg and killed the tie off there and then. Just one more thing regarding Brendan Rogers, I like the feller, was quite happy to have him or Martinez when we were looking in the summer, I think he has started the job quite well even though its early days, having said that he is not imune from getting things wrong or making mistakes and when he does I will always point them out, just think he made one against Herats last week, time will tell I suppose after the Arsenal result.
There we go Mr Rodgers "best fans in the world"
So when a managers messes up or you feel he should of done something different, do you keep your mouth shut just because of who he is, did'nt we do enough of that when Dalglish was in charge, how many bad decisions did he get away with just because some people called him the King and never questioned him.
BTW the best fans in the world tag evaporated
many, many years ago.
