John Carew is the latest player being linked with a move to anfield. The daily star says Rafa is prepearing a £3m bid for the striker:

think it would be a good signing. far from ideal. but failing of blowing the same unrealistic smoke of my ass as others have been on here...for example i know, let's by messi, silva, villa, aguero. wow....that's inspired....WE CAN'T AFFORD ANYTHING BETTER!

Why buy a striker who cant score or play well. We might aswell give the youth ago, recall Nemeth, play Pecheco? Surely thats better than buying crap.

Carew has been oustanding since he's been at Villa.

ok carew is a prety good player i don't know what you guys think were going to get in the trasnfer window but it won't be anything special. If i has a choice between heskey carew and vnr i would pick carew, so i don't know. I also think that this deal WON'T happen villa fighting for a top 4 spot won't sell one of their main players to a rival team also fighting can't see this happening

Can't see it myself but would be better than Heskey.

carew is old..
his standard is not gd enuff for liverpool

heskey is definitely not good enough. carew would be a better choice....

that said non of them are the kind of players any of us would want to have but what choice do we have....we got no money.
