still going on about a mistake I see despite the win there and the point gained on Sunday. Some people will never be happy

Some people will never be happy I dont agree with putting things off, I think we should of gone out and killed the tie off first time of asking then worried about fielding weakend teams when the job was done, now we are faced with an unessassary competative match a couple of days before an important clash with Arsenal, yes mistake for me is the right word to use.

And was the league match against City not as important? Have we turned into Blackpool all of a sudden where we look at league games and think we can't win that so lets sacrifice that one. The league is more important than the Europa league even though I would also like to win that. BR selected a team that he reckoned could get the victory and they did. job done

If we had got beat by hearts we would not have heard the last of it but oh dear we won and nearly beat city to boot. How terrible it would be if we won comfortably tomorrow oh whatever would we do? Rodgers is really making a mess of things isn't he? And that’s sarcasm by the way before someone in a few days says I am talking rubbish Rodgers is doing well. Got that? Sarcasm! Having a pop at red ged to explain the rationale.

Also in the first leg against Hearts BR probably wanted to put some fringe players into the shop window for display - or that they all of a sudden perhaps could have shown some glimpses of improvement - which in turn might have yielded them a spot in our squad for this season.
What happened was that those players didn't turn up! Now they're probably going out of the club instead.
I think BR will field a team that is a bit stronger this time, but not our regular starting XI (what ever that could turn out to be).
Wouldn't be surprised if he fields Agger and Skrtel for example.

I thought the cup ties are reset after the qualifying rounds, so it wouldn't really matter.

Last week you were saying we should play a strong team as the Man city game wasn't important? but now the Asrenal game is important, the only consistency you show is negative comments ie we will never hit top 4/win the league. However, BR has stated that his focus will be on the PL. get over yourself pal

is coates ready to play 2 games in 3 days? because agger will be suspended against arsenal so he'll have to play against arsenal, wouldn't want him tiring in the latter stages of the arsenal game, much more likely to make a mistake. i would prefer sterling to play another 70ish mins against hearts -a team we know he could really hurt- and then come on against arsenal for the last 25mins when the game is a bit stretched and players are tiring. agger was suspended for one match only
