I think Gerrard is simply feeling sorry for himself the minute things go wrong.

I think Gerrard is simply feeling sorry for himself the minute things go wrong. Two years now!I would have upmost respect for Rodgers if he dropped him,put Shelvey there at least he looks interested. The way Gerrard was not chasing down last week while othes were was shameful.

Like you said him and Carragher far too much influence.Interesting that Fergie booted these type of players out Keane,Neville,Beckham for the good of his team, and was proven right, hope Rodgers has the same nerve.

I know its pathetic. He loses the ball and just stands there waiting on Lucas to pick it back up, wouldn't really be bothered if he was dropped as he hasn't really added much in a while, apart from the Everton game last season where he was fantastic.

I think the midfield will be Sahin, Allen and Lucas.
Borini and Suarez wil be 2 of the 3 front men.
That leaves the other place between SG and Dowling. Sterling and the Moroccan lad wil also be in the mix so for the first time in 10 years I can imagine an LFC team without SG.
I am not saying he wont play but I think if he does it will be up front on the right. I no longer see him as irreplaceable.

I just dont know where we are going to score on Sunday, our forwards are so poor, If Gerrard did get left out on Sunday which I cant see happening as he's the captain and figurehead of the Club, he was probably our best chance of a goal from a free kick. If you are going to play Borini we need to play him as our central striker instead of the awful Suarez, we are that poor at scoring goals I bought a golden goal ticket for Sunday and when I opend it the ticket said March 2013 thats how bad we are.

I respect your opinion Suarez missed six chances to score against West Brom, what would you say to that for a forward who plays up front for Liverpool Football Club and cost over 20 million pounds, yes awful is the correct word, continuing from last season's form in front of goal.

Suarez is without doubt our best player. He may miss chances but he is far from awful and if you think he is you may as well support netball. It's about what he can create and that bit of magic he can produce. So he didn't do it in the first game of the season but I bet you if he wasn't on the field, those chances he missed wouldn't have even been created.
