The first penalty could have been stopped if Gerrard hadn't lost the ball and dropped his head instead of trying to win the ball back. And the second was just dodgy. But to say we could have stopped that opening goal is ludacris it was an epic strike he wont ever score one like it again. We dont think its ok for us to concede goals either we just know the first was top class and the 2 penalties were just touch and go decisions. Also the sending off did us no good either. 1 steps forward and 2 steps back with us the last couple years.

but see the thing is, if you dont sieze the game and control it, shiit happens, dodgy penalties/ wonder goals etc. we dawdle around to much and eventualy other teams take their chances.

You don't see my point at all About the first goal. It was an epic strike but if he hadn't been able to get the strike off he wouldn't have scored or even if he had taken it down and past a player that's more understandable. I don't question goals from open play because mistakes happen like that unless it's glaringly obvious like a poor pass back etc

If Skrtel hadn't given the corner away and let Reina claim the ball then we wouldn't have conceded the corner.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. What does slightly concern me was how Skrtel and Agger went to pieces against an ordinary strike force. I'd like to another commanding centre half added to the squad before the end of the window.

Missing the point as well. Corners are the one time you can place players in dangerous areas an the edge of the square is one of them. I said to my cousin before the 3rd goal why is there no one on the box again and they got the goal

We could've stopped all three goals if we hadn't turned up.

Sorry but I was trying to stress was that if Skrtel hadnt made a mistake leading up to the corner then the goal wouldnt have come.

The point I was trying to make that hindsight is a wonderful thing.
