Great point on this thread. Im very worried. Im happy with Allen, Borini and Assaidi but i would have been alot happier with Ramirez (who we were actually NEVER interested in)Pazzini and Dempsey. I dont like the way Adam, Spearing and either Downing or Henderson havent been sold as of yet, Adam is a mid table player at best, Spearing would look world class in League One, Downing couldnt set you up on a blind date let alone set up a goal, and Henderson has promise but to me its like Shelvey has everything 5 yard pass has and even more, aswel as age. We looked shocking Saturday and after we conceded it was like the players didn't want to play the new system anymore, a couple of times our CB's gave in to temptation and hacked the ball forward. Also Gerrard needs to get his finger out and realise his past performances cant cement his place in this team any longer, for the last 18 months he's been average lets face it, granted he was injured for some time. Carrol for me is the only one who seems like he's up for the challenge and he should be kept not as a plan B but to start up front along with Suarez and Borini/Downing/Assaidi, whoever turns out better. I just hope BR isn't talking the talk and we actually see some vast improvements quickly because in my opinion we played great last season we just lacked what were still missing out on now - GOALS.
