Yeah, Suarez is more of a playmaker than a natural finisher, even if he can on occasion be very clinical but not often enough. We need to sign a poacher, the type of player who will score the 2out of 3 chances rather than miss the 2 out of 3 chances that we are seeing from Suarez. The last thing this club needs is a repeat of last year in front of goal and yet that is exactly what we saw on Saturday. Time for FSG to get the cheque book out and sign a top 4 level finisher.

This is plain for all to see but what is very concerning remains the owners apathy towards this fact. What is going on!!!

Not sure that we can blame the owners for this one as I thought that BR brought in Borini for this role, may be they did not sanction a more expensive option, we never know. It's true though that in the Jan window when we desperately needed a striker (Suarez was banned), they did not give the green light for Jelavic with whom we were linked, this according to me could have changed our season in the league, but not this time around. I don't think the manager is on the market for a striker considering Dempsey a mid-fielder, is he?

Adebayor's a decent poacher who nobody seems to want at the moment..

A decent striker would be Gary Hooper from Celtic
