Joe did naff-all. He's called "Average Allen" for a reason. If he got MOTM and we won 3-0 then it's a big thing. But considering we were nothing short of shambolic and a Championship side could've rolled us over, I think Joe's performance was hardly vintage. Perspective guys. Perspective.

Allen was the best player in our side yesterday. He understood Rodgers game while the rest still need time.

He is being called average Allen for some reason by you, but that reason is probably not worth exploring after one game.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

He should've taken responsiity and said "LET EVERYHTING RUN THROUGH ME!", but no. Gerrard had a shocker and Allen just kept going backwards and sideways. If that makes him MOTM, then the world has gone mad.

Haha, Allen was the only midfielder passing it forward. Maybe you got him mistaken with Lucas. That makes sense.

he was trying to get the ball forward gerrard was sideways and backwards and out of play mostly yesterday , lucas still has a bit to do to get up to any sort of form after injury , but hey lets give the new player abuse for trying to play and trying to get the team going and getting praise from someone of like the legend like jimmy case .

I think Joe Allen is a good player. But he wasn't as good as people say. I was there and he was backeards and sideways. Didn't really pass forward unless he couldn't pass backwards or sideways.
