nothing to do with officals , some decsions go for ya some dont , it all evens out , im sure we will get a peno later on in the season which wont be a peno , we just had a horribly day today and in the last couple of seasons because we are not good enough
Correct, were not good enough and I didn't see the yellows today but poor officiating doesn't even itself. The standard. In the epl will be shown to be sh1te again this year (again).
I wonder if Phil Dowd will allow this West Brom team to play this physical style V Man U? Long was going down way too easy for me!!! MOM way Dowd the Ref coz he wanted to be centre of attention in an LFC game again!!! Now that Brendan has pointed it out watch the decisions in the next games!!!! The playing field is not level!!! but we dont help ourselves either.
Phil Dowd was undeniably dreadful today. The Skrtel "penalty" was one of the most ridiculous decisions I've ever seen. But let's be honest, we could have had Robbie Fowler officiating and it wouldn't have made a difference. That was such a poor showing. I know it's only the first game of the season but it worries me because we were right back where we were last season. That reminded me far too much of Kenny's reign: shocking finishing, the odd wonder-goal and super-keeper, lots of possession with no chances being created, etc. But we're going to have to show a lot of patience in the coming weeks. It's not totally inconceivable that we could be 5 games into the season with 1 point with City, Arsenal, United, and Sunderland coming up.
It is early but honestly we are in a worse position to last year. Our squad looks really bare. West Brom have a better squad as have most other EPL teams. Do these owners realise we could be relegated!!! Look at the state of this LFC squad - need I say more. Even if we get going we have a bare ghost of a team.

i don't think Shane Long will get that many games. i think Lukaku is going to be a starter, and so will Rosenberg, once he's ready. agree with the rest of your post though
