i agree that it's waaay too early to pass judgement. i thought we looked decent in our europa league games. granted, the competition wasn't quite on the same level as what we'll be facing. today though, there looked to be zero cohesion in the squad. for this style of football to be pulled off, for any style for that matter but ESPECIALLY this type, there HAS to be cohesion. everyone has to know what they're doing and what their squad mates are doing before they do it. we just completely fell apart.

Was actually expecting something like this, a draw or a 1-0 loss, but the ref just made it 3-0 very very soft first penalty and a ludicrous second, the first goal was unstoppable just one of those lucky shots you don't want to be on the other end of.

WBA are the first all defense team Rodgers is facing with Liverpool, that is why I wasn't excepting a win, because we don't have the talent to go thru these kinds of teams.

Downing totally out of ideas, Gerared had a bad game all around, ball watching and not pressing as often as he should, Borini is still new, Suarez was the only one trying.

The positive is that we did some good pressing and passing at times, but it was on and off, players seem to get bored and rush the ball forward. If they committed to the tactics all the time the result could have been different.

Commitment is the difference between us and the top teams, but this will take time, and the ability to make players disciplined and committed is as important as tactics and philosophy , and Rodgers will be judged on this.

Won't blame Rodgers, he is only trying his best which might not be enough. Would however blame our owners who have no clue and think that football (what they call soccer) is the same as american football and it's all about stats. How can they think that 18 months are enough to change a team and bring results. Anyway it's their money and I am not giving a penny (I usually buy at least a kit every year being in Mauritius and cannot go to games) until I am confident we are doing the right thing which I don't think we are doing right now as a club...

I have been watching for years now where the same officials consistently give us poor/harsh decisions. OK if our players deserved yellows then so did the WB players. I am beginning to think we have to play 2 opponents each game minimum - The opposing team and the officials!!!! It doesn't help when we give up too.

nothing to do with officals , some decsions go for ya some dont , it all evens out , im sure we will get a peno later on in the season which wont be a peno , we just had a horribly day today and in the last couple of seasons because we are not good enough
