There's a lot of talk in the press today about Rafa wanting to sign Pandev in january. If true it would be great news for us...he can play as a striker and an attacking midfielder and i think he's the type of player we need.

Sounds like trouble to me. If he's been released by Lazio then it cant be a good situation. Lazio need players more than we do.

he wanted to leave the club last summer but they put a €19m price tag on him despite only having one year left on his contract...after that there's been some problems and lazio hasn't included him in the squad since then. that's why the court decided that lazio had to let him go (obviously there's some rules regarding this but im not sure exactly why they had to let him go)

I read a story last week that he mentioned he wants to stay in Italy after he was linked with Spurs and Arsenal.

From the few times I've seen him play he looks good, will make a great partner for Torres. Only thing is I hope the two get a chance to play together!

He isn't back to Inter, wikipedia confuses things now and then, like with Alonso and so, till Alonso went to Real Steven Defour was by wikipedia playing for Real while he was still playing in Belgium, and still is.

Anywho, Pandev believe me, I watch most matches or reviews of all leagues and last years Pandev always was a fun player to watch. If you find Pandev to be bad, then there is no point why lfc should by either Heskey, Luis Suarez or any type like that.
