i dont think we'll be too far behind 4th. but we haven't got enough strength in depth in forward areas to get 4th.

1st - Utd. Had terrible injuries, had to bring scholes out of retirement, and still only lost the league title by 1 goal. They now have van persie....

2nd - City. i think it will be close again - Utd will be stronger but City will be more settled and more experienced

3rd - Arsenal. the players they have brought in will more than make up for van persie's departure

4th - Chelsea. They've bought some top quality players but will need time to settle. Plus RDM did a poorer job than AVB in the league last season

5th - Spurs. I think Modric is over rated and his departure won't make a huge difference. Besides, they're bound to replace him with someone good

6th - Newcastle. No reason why they won't be as good as last year, or even better.

7th - Liverpool. Made some interesting/speculative signings but they'll take time to integrate - plus the whole squad will need time to adapt to BR's methods. Still, I can't see how they'll do as bad as last year

8th - Everton. I think it will be very close between us & everton again. No major upheaval for them to worry about, a few new decent signings plus Jelavic will be with them for a whole season, not a half.

Tough one. But, even though I'm an ever optimist, I think this will be top 6:

1) United
2) City
3) Chelsea
4) Us
5) Arsenal
6) Spurs

Top 4 is a massive achievement and we can use that for future success. Another trophy is vital. We need to use the City model of "finishing top 4 and winning a trophy, then the next year win the league" model to progress.
