Hey went to the game on sunday. dont go that much anymore but 44 quid for two tickets aint so bad. long story short at half time my girl wanted a drink. as i am a minge bag tried in vain to avoid going the kiosk in the ground. anyway biting my tongue i went for it. i qued for 30!!! minutes. i missed ten minutes of the second half.

Guess what happened when i got to the front.... sorry if u dont have the exact change we cant serve you. so a club valued at hundreds of millions has no change. pathetic load of pish i tell ya. not spending another penny at that toilet of a ground!!!!

The catering at Anfield in 2012 is micky mouse. It you want a cup of coffee in a plastic cup like you get out of machine its £2. But to purchase one involves being in a rugby scrum for 15 minutes survival of the fittest just keep shouting hey love hey love at the top of your voice until over time you eventually get served or walk off whichever comes first. That might seem bad manners but unless you fight and make yourself heard from experience you will never be served. The people behind the counters are kids or immigrants who can speak english paid buttons. Yet the club is dripping in money. The ground is a shed it was out of date in the 1980's it really is a joke and to pay £50 to go there is taking the micky out of the paying public. To those who have never been to Anfield it might seem a place of destiny its certaintly has history but its a dump. And don't mention wanting to go to the toilet don't even think of it without goretex shoes never ever in sandals or porus footware.

I went to one of the olympics games at Old Trafford and that was worse. Five quid for salad, 2.80 for a bag of crisps and you're not allowed lids on your drinks incase you throw them onto the pitch (begging the question why not just throw the bottle?) which means every time someone walks past to get to their seat they knock your drink over. Oh and of course then you have to throw your clothes away afterwards to avoid them getting infected. Nightmare.

to be fair, how old is anfield now? i think its fair to say the business has far out grown the building and the capabilities of the facilities within the stadium. there isn't really any other solution until either we get a new stadium or the ground is redeveloped.

there is no excuse for having no change though, especially when they charge top dollar for everything. if you feel as though you didnt enjoy the match day experience and feel as though you wouldn't come back again then it may be worth making a complaint to 'ground catering'.

Wembley is like that. They give you plastic cups to put your drink in so you have nothing to throw. Trick at Anfield is to put the lid in your pocket before you go in and screw it back on when you get in.

I would've done that but of course since its the olympics you have to be searched before you enter and you're not allowed to bring liquids in. We weren't allowed to bring liquids into the Nou Camp either and then they sold their drinks in cans when we were in row 9.
