if their was any dream that the club resurrection will happen soon then the Gomel game is the wake up call, BR called for time and every sensible football knows that is what we need.

Rodgers is sending signals (without having to say 70% of the squad is useless cr@p)that the team needs a number of players to just start playing good.

and an underestimated reason is the low fitness levels and having to many players in the Euros and the Olympics on the back of it.

4th is a distant target this season so get to grips with it.

In no way shape or form should we be thinking top4 especially after the summer activity top to bottom. It's a shame because I feel other teams have helped us this summer. We have lost a couple of bogey player's in Drogba and Cahill and I think spurs have fu#ked up by sacking Harry. But also am wary of o'Neil's Sunderland and a resurgence from villa under Lambert. I think we are anywhere between 10-6 at the moment wouldn't expect more.

Because villa and everton have done what over the summer?

and until we complete the signings who are all going to be starting creative players get Suarez back, and Agger plays we can't even properly start

Everton finished the season stronger than us with draws at United and beating a very good Newcastle whereas we are sliding backwards was it 3 or 4 wins this year in total, thats why Everton seem to be in better shape than us going into the new season.

If Spearing is in the starting line up come the new season it will show how bad we really have become and if we are waiting for Henderson or Shelvey to step up as a replacement for Gerard who is showing signs the end is near then we really are fooked.
BR needs to show a pair of balls and tell Carra its over.We really do have a squad of average players.
