thanks for the welcome... the spark must be on most of the season... and when the squad is playing awful, there must be someone who could finish bad 90 mins to a win... and when the opponents are defending, or watching the frontliners very well., there must a finish coming from behind... I don't know if BR has something else in his mind, or may be players will improve amazingly and do what they couldn't last season..

He's under little pressure, possibly the only recognised true striker in the squad (ok Andy is one on paper but not always one on the pitch judging by his record).

Andy carrol to his credit has taking most of hte pressure off anyone else coming after him. 35m was a huge price tag for him and he is only 22-23
Borini has everything to gain and little to lose

Don't disagree with your logic but there is always massive pressure at LFC. Every time Borini plays he will be judged to high standards. I thought against Spurs his first touch looked good and that is always a sign a player can play. Early days but he might surprise a few it takes a while to bed in. Bearsdley took 4 to 5 months and was then a legend along with Aldo and Barnes.

Gerrard, Aquilani, and Lucas should be good enough for our midfield.
