in the last season LFC were hit many times by bad luck and post was the best goal keeper against us... but in many other games, there was a lack of creativity and positivity from midfield... in many games we could see the squad not even making a simple risk at the opponents.. and if sometimes answer can't come from frontliners into the net,, don't we need striking options from the midfield?? are Lucas, Henderson, Adam, Spearing, Shelvey, who couldn't score nor assist enough last season, are they enough to do it?? Gerrard shouldn't be alone in this..

Borini is in the same case as BR imo, in that clearly neither has been given a chance, not even yet worth worrying if either is going to be a 'mistake' or not.
I am optimistic for borini because:
LFC in their majestic scouting stupidity couldnt buy a striker last seasons 2010-12. So suarez a ' support ' striker was ending up doing the role of Torres, and if that wasnt enough, he had to try and do one twos with a donkey that escaped from scarborough beach, a donkey that preferred grazing in the centre circle and strolling about in the lfc penalty box! to looking to get on the end of passes!!
Borini is a striker looking to get in the box . I am ecstatic about this it could go really well (at moment it won't because no midfield flair)

Whatever Borini is like I don't know. He will have to go some though to be worse than Carroll.

Think he could be a good player for us this year, have to wait and see after a few games and a run in the team tho.

I think the key/s to this season is/are still to be signed, unless BR can get some of our midfield players snap out of whatever stupor induced paralysis they were infected with last season, they seemed to be all stuck to the ground in or around the centre circle, with an almighty fear of getting anywhere near the box.

I am actually worried that we are putting all our fate into this young striker and expecting him to be one of our so called front 3 or the main striker. I would love to see him bang goals week in week out but it isn't that easy especially if he is coming to a new environment at that age. I will be extra worried if we don't sign any other striker because in my opinion Carroll, Suarez and Borini aren't enough. Lets hope we get Dempsey at least.
