O'Neill? Limited Money? Think you may want to check your facts on that one! he spent roughly £50 million nett last summer alone, which, without having the numbers infront of me, is probably more than Liverpool have spent since Benitez arrived.

You sound like a kid throwing his toys out the pram because we don't have a devine right to win every game, the reason Man U are so dominant now is because they stuck with a manager who improved season on season, much as Benitez is doing now. but if you supported them you'd have probably been one of the ones shouting for Ferguson to be sacked in 1990.

o'neill spent a lot of money while in charge of celtic and produced a team that played some of the most boring footie ever seen until walter smith took charge of rangers last season

yes rafa makes mistakes but so does everyone - look at fergie's buys there are many that never made it but when you have the money he has to spend you can just go out and buy someone else to take the place ...... rafa hasn't the money to do this unfortunately

all we can ask is that rafa moves the club forward each season and he has done so ..... the time to ask questions about him is when the club stops making progress and are still nowhere near winning the league

Aston Villa lost to Middlesbrough at home, i assume if that happened at Liverpool you'd want the manager sacked?

Go back and read your post from 3.10pm, it was you who brought money into it, you seem to be suggesting we should be ahead of all the teams we spend more money than, erm which we are.

keep sulking though, it's quite funny!

£200 million? where do you get that from? Admittedly every manager buys flops even Slur Alex and the great frog Wenger ie Veron, Kleberson, Bellion, Forlan, Nani, Wreh, Diawara, Mendez, Boa Morte, Reyes, Franny Jeffers - and that's just a few from the attacking ranks!!! Ask yourself how much that little shower cost!

Also a very important fact you may have missed here Franco is that Benítez has sold the flops on or has traded them for very little actual lose.

You are welcome to your opinion but why not save your breath for now mate; wait till Rafa hopefully has the right tools for the trade ie backing, funds and time - then you can slag him off if he fails to deliver.

Sadly I have to admit that I can't get to as many matches nowadays, but when I do, I am always pleased to see just how much Rafa is respected by the fans. At Madrid on Wednesday every Red I spoke to or heard was shitting themselves over the sicko rumours spead back in the UK saying Rafa was leaving - we sang his name almost endlessly during the match - that just goes to show what he means to our club mate!

Paka H has just been interviewed on five live and said that he thought that Rafa was focused on staying, his family was settled and would sign a new contract.

If you went or watched the whole match against boro, you will see that, well in my eyes, it was not rafa to blame, it was the useless players, particularly babel and kuyt, who wer a disgrace to the shirt they wore. Now Rafa does deserve some blame with the Skrtel right back and the decision to bring carra off over him and babel, and the fact that we are so cautious with the ball and how we attack. Little creavity, its basically alonso who has the magic touch on the ball, but even with his talent, theres no movement.

As long as Rafa goes out this summer and signs a winger with pace, creativty, and good movement off the ball above all his other signings, i'll happily let him stay, but eventually he will have to go if we continue like this.

We are Liverpool and this is Anfield. Welcome to Hell.

I can't believe anyone wants Rafa out. When he came we were a decent Uefa Cup side. Everyone thinks that we have a natural right to win the Prem every year, before he came we weren't good enough. And slowly our results have got better, and on the side he's got us to two CL finals and won the FA Cup.

Everyone starts expecting us to win the prem every year, before he came we simply weren't good enough, and now we are (although remote) still up there should MU fall over.

here is my theory on the middlesbrough game rafa did manke a mistake but i will start with something that we should all know and admit we will not win the league this season i know shocking.. but we will finish in the top 4 so we finish forth from where we have been this season 5 points clear if i remember rightly but if at the end of this coming season we finish 4 and win the CL then that is just brilliant in my opinion and i personally think we will win the CL if inter can do us a favour and knock out utd but back to rafa's mistake we should be going into every league game with no pressure now but instead of playing football with no pressure benitez told them that the game didn't matter he should have told them to just go out there and just express yourself' he mistake was that he just worded it wrong i was actually impressed with babel i think took hoyte apart and we could have won that game easily because when babel or gerrard upped the pace of the game they didn't really have an answer i am looking forward to out remaining league games should quite eventful

hey Tss1990: I want United in the final my pal. I aint afraid of that scum. I want Man U v Liverpool in the Champions League Final.

We have drilled Juventus,Barcelona,Ac Milan, Arsenal,Chelsea,Madrid & Inter Milan. Why should we fear United?

Bring that Rooney and Ferdinand, lets meet in Rome!!!! I would be more worried of Inter.

Coming back to the borough game, we lost, so what? We got to beat Sunderland, Beat Man United. We make up the three points we lost against borough at old trafford.

Remember Fergie is going to field a strong team for the inter game, and that game is going to be intense. We have a extra day to rest.

We are not a real threat to united, all reds fans know we cannot compare in depth to the scum for the whole season. But United are not invincible, and we as liverpool fans to never let "fear of united" into our system.

They took 21 years to almost level our clubs history.

Screw the mancs!!!
