If by some freak chance Rafa can not agree terms with the Yanks and walks. Who in your opinion are your top 5 men for the managers job. Does'nt have to be in order. Just your top 5.

1.Jose mourinho
2.Frank Rjiikard
3.Martin Jol
4.Marco van basten
5.Kenny Dalglish

For me it'd have to be Mourinho. I would take Frank but not sure about anyone else. I really can't name 5 and I don't want to as I want to keep Rafa smile

I honestly think a Dutch Manager is the way to go. I would take Mourinho. His won the league before and he can talk the talk.

But i truly beleave a Dutch manager would deliver not only the goods but the quality attacking play that can break teams down in the toughest league in the world.

Whether it be Hiddink,Van Gaal, Jol,Riijaard. I think they would all be quality additions.

I am my know meens doubting rafa's ability. He is without doubt one of the worlds best. However im just unsure whether he is the man to break the drought.

o'neill wouldn't come to us he is a man utd boy and has been pretty much waiting for fergie to retire i'd guess villa contract has a clause in it saying he can go to utd if they offer him job no questions asked.... and as for mourinho brilliant manager but look at what he left at chelsea gave them to titles and a really old and aging squad and who ever gets the job needs to be left alone for a couple of years to rebuild... do you really want that to be us in years time and i say 3 years because that's how long he would last before he wanted to get the real madrid or barcelona job..... as for hiddink no chance until his contract with russia runs out i don't about van gaal i wouldn't want a dutch manager i think they would be like 99.9% of the players that come over to england from holland rubbish i would rather have rafa then any manager of the top of my head i really hope in 5 year time there is some quality manager available cause is only gunna sign one more contract

why the clamber for Mourinho?

he came in to England and put together the most expensivly assembled team in history and still couldn't dominate in anyway, he was out-thought in every way when he faced Benitez

His football is also a lot duller than Rafa's.

Would any of those managers put up with the [oops] Rafa has had to put up with?
