Just read the commenbts from Spurs players regarding Adam's tackle on G. Bale in the recent friendly.
Here is the link:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19044530Bale labels Adam a 'coward' for his actions on the field and off of it.
I don't actually remember the Blackpool challenge that the article refers to. However, although you shouldn't dislike your own players, there is just something about this player (Adam) that I cannot stand!
If you give him time on the ball then Adam has the ability to hurt you. Problem he has is that you just don't get that time in the EPL in matches and his slow, immobile style leaves him sprawling after opponents once he has been intercepted/tackled and his cynical nature has seen him cut down at least one opponent in every match I have seen him play in.
As for the so called 'magic wand' of a left foot...... I'm amazed when he actually beats the first man with a cross or corner!
Fegrie stitched us right up when he made that 'corners worth 10m' statement about Adam.
Really hope BR ships this overweight average player out asap.
Liability waiting to happen once more next season!
