someone metioned his name on a different thread as a possible candidate for the managers position at Liverpool.having thought about it i think he would be a great manager for us and i cant think of a better choice.his players always want to play for him and he has experience all over europe.he has done an amazing job with Fulham taking them from relegation certs and turning them into a good premiership side.i also think he's the type of bloke that we would all support.
i dont know what sort of budget he has had at Fulham but right now we dont need a big spending manager we need a good coach and thats exactly what he is.
he would probably jump at the chance of joining us even if we aren't as good as Fulham.
what do u guys think?and can u think of a better replacement?i'm not sure there is one maybe with the exception of Martin O'neil but even then i think i would rather take Hodson.

he has done well pretty much everywhere he has gone - only black mark would be blackburn rovers and even there it is hard to judge, as there were many extenuating circumstances behind the team's struggles ....... other than that, i think we would have to look at someone like o'driscoll of donnie or davies of forest .... or maybe coyle at burnley .... someone along those sorts of lines that would have be be given time to rebuild the team

Mark Hughes what?No no no no no & a big fat NO.Roy Hodgson is top quality.Wouldn't demand a massive transfer kitty.Good job too,because we've got nothing.He also would be able to persuade torres & gerrard to stay.

ah Alsgred it was you that first metioned Hodgson and i think you hit the nail on the head.i really cant think of a better man for the job.and the people who are saying we should go for Hughes need there heads testing.the last thing we want is one of Fergusons bitches being involved in the running of our team.
Hodson has experience all over the place and is very well respected right across europe.i just hope the board try to get him in and rafa out.and i dont think the tranfer kitty is an issue with Hodson i think he can create a good side out of what we have then add to it when we are in a better position.

Are you all on something? Mark Hughes, do me a favour. I agree that Rafa has to go, and sooner rather than later for me. Hodgeson would do a good job. We do have to remember that because of the Yanks we have no money, a good chunk of the squad are not good enough so we have to be realistic. We cannot currently challenge Chelsea or Man U on any level. The club needs to be sold, a new manager inserted and real funds made available, but that would all seem to be a pipe dream.

We need Arab take over, lots of cash and Jose M.
