What a player this lad is. Just watching the game with some fellow LFC fans and it's clear that Jonjo is the easily the best player on the pitch by a country mile. His first touch is absolutely fantastic, his passing range is superb and his composure/creativity is magnificent. We've got a brilliant talent at our disposal here and we shoild nurture him well because he'll go on to be the best midfielder in the world and will lead the club to future glories.
From getting the live threads Shelvey played very well. Seems he has put in two great performances in these games.
Also great to see Pacheco playing well. For whatever reasons he hasn't been given too much of a chance but he seems to be up for it with Rodgers in charge even if it is preseason.
Everybody played well and some like Shelvey and Cole played very well. We played very well with an almost first 11 Roma team with a good bunch of second stringers on the field at any one time. Rodgers quite the tactician. So far he's been brilliant.

I thought shelvey showed some good individual skill at times, but like the rest of the team, he was't THAT good. There was no coheesiveness about the team. No one really knew what their role was.
