There's a nice quote in 365 (sorry my computer skills wont allow me to link it ) about Borini cutting his holidays short to get into training early so as to be better able to hit the ground running for the new season. Some of what they quote him as saying is very interesting, both in terms of his mindset and his relationship with Brendan Rodgers. If only all our players had that level of commitment! I must say I am warming to this young player already and I'm looking forward to see him playing in the red this season. smile

There was a thread about this earlier. I agree. Sounds like a good kid.

Sounds good but when Torres came did he not spend the summer in his hotel room(so we were told) watching 70's Liverpool DVD's and we all said ahhhh he is one of us. Then look how far his loyalty went. Sorry to be an old cynic.

I admire the sentiment and his attitude towards being ready for the new season etc is commendable but as I said on the other post that redordead13 mentioned, I'd expect absolutely nothing less.

Yeah that one went belly up right enough, so you never know, even the best of friends can sometimes fall out with each other. and True enough Stan, Torres departure was tardy and petulant to say the least. However it's a good start by the young fella, and with any luck he will do well and be with us for a long time.

It was his own good to turn up early, especially when u're a new player. Simple logic, u turn up late, there are chances that other players will impress the manager. And when u turn up, these players are alrdy getting more minutes to play than u. Then, being a new player u need more time to settle. So if u dnt play it becomes more difficult to adapt to ur new club.

Well, i see a good thing abt borini. He's a natural finisher with both legs equally. He reminds me Robbie Fowler. Hopefully, we can get our 2nd GOD in coming months.
