Anyone know where Stuart Downing is? He's not in any of these pictures with the Euro players who just arrived in the US. Strange...

I dont think he is there, could be injured (which I doubt) or Rodgers has been honest and told him he will be moved on this window, either a sale, or as part of a deal bringing a player to the club.

I heard, cant remember where, Rodgers has made him available and not 1 club has inquired.

Yeah, another article on the lfc tour site says:

Borini, Steven Gerrard, Stewart Downing, Glen Johnson, Jordan Henderson, Martin Kelly and Andy Carroll took part in their first training session of pre-season on Tuesday morning ahead of our friendly with Roma in Boston on Wednesday.

Sorry for the false alarm - Just thought it was weird that with 17 pictures and at least 2 of all the others there wasn't one of Downing.

Camera had focus on Gerrard and Borini mostly. Downing wasn't anywhere near these guys. Anyway, who cares Downing is here or not unless he displays some good performances.

Or maybe Downing ain't photogenic enough and his photos were deemed cute enough to be uploaded. hehe

true, but spain also made it deeper into the tournament than england so maybe he gets an extra few days to rest? then again, he's a GK and didn't play a single minute in the tournament so i doubt he needs any more rest. the only logic i see is they're letting him have a bit of a longer holiday/rest period since he's been involved in training all summer.

Borini came earlier than he had to. Just because he did doesn't mean that Reina does.

Lets hope Downing is it transfer talks with a Reading or Southampton and that is the reason he is not on the pics, still cant believe that Clown paid 20 million for him.
