Lets all be optimistic and get on board the BR train with full faith.
BR develops youngsters and gets them playing like world class players so how many of us were praying for Kenny to play Sterling more last season (of course when Sterling played he looked better than the rest of the team).
BR is a ruthless manager, which is good for the club, we need someone with a iron grip to rule the club and not be afraid of upsetting the pampered players ie Kenny and Roy all fell into that boat.
By selling Carroll, letting Maxi and Kuyt leave, not paying Siggy more than he is worth, BR is showing he will not be messed around. If he takes that attitude forwards with he his dealings with Stevie G and Carra it will not go amiss.
Keep the faith, we hit the woodwork so many times last year and had a lack of cutting edge so this year if those chances go in (which with Borini they will) we will finish higher.
We have some of the best youngsters in the game, Sterling, Suso, Adam Morgan, Coady, Jordan Ibe. The future is solid.

Too many false hopes.I expect nothing now and will give respect once its earned. I agree with Kane. Optimism, yes. Blind faith, no. Expecting nothing, hoping for a lot, but bracing myslef for the worst for exactly the same reason - i.e. too many failures in management at all levels at LFC in recent years. In addition, BR is not proven. He seems to have great potential and provides the chance of a fresh, new beginning for LFC. But it's his first real test at this level and is a gamble. Yes, we'll support him. But we'll be wary that he's a young, inexperienced manager who is likely to make a few mistakes along the way. So when we sometimes voice an opinion that he's got something wrong, or could've done something better, it doesn't mean we don't support him. It's just the normal fan giving an opinion - which surely is partly what football is about. In addition, he's the first LFC manager in my lifetime who's younger than me. So he should listen to his elders
'I was only in the game for the love of football - and I wanted to bring back happiness to the people of Liverpool.' Bill Shankly
'We should have made a signing or two in the last couple of transfer windows.' Vish

I'm sure every LFC fan will back BR but what we don't want are fans chanting Dalglish if things are not going our way from the start. We have a difficult start to the season and BR is changing the way we play, it will take time, lets give him that time to prove himself.

Well said Paddy and others I am fully behind Rogers. And if the kop starts to chant Dalglish if things are not going well early on then they are clearly not the most educated fans in the country as per the legend says

I think it's safe to say we have heard the last of the 'dalglish' chants!!

You can chant for who you like Rodgers is Henry's first real choice as manager and he will be given time even if the first season is a diosappointment.
