I get very angry at the football these days, but sometimes i have to laugh at these forums, Rafa has only spent 16m net a season for 5 yrs, even arsenal have spent more. Who else is out there that would do better? Klinsmann? Souness? be relaisitc here cos those are the sort of managers we will end up with. We need to get behind the team and unite against the owners, when was the last protest.....We are not the club we were in the 80s and you dont win the league on past glories, I thin some fans need a reality check, stop moaning and get behind the team more than ever.

The only other option we have is that Madrid keep under performing and come in for Rafa. I doubt we will pay the £20M to get rid...

As for the comment about the other clubs debt they are not taking 100% of club profits to service it we are and that is a major difference. Our off the field management is as shambolic as it gets and that makes the job harder for players and mangers alike.

at the end of the day the managers job is to coach the players he has at his disposal and Rafa has produced a very poor team.they are his players and his tactics the money he has or hasn't spent is not the issue here its his lack of ability as a coach that is the problem.

I read somewhere Liverpool net spend over the last 5 years is above any other club with the exception of Chelsea. Even after adjusting for Ronaldo we are above Man Utd. Can't remember where I read it.

Complete garbage today.And,that's being polite.As soon as i saw the midfield i thought we would struggle to create any chances.If i can see that,why can't the manager?Dossena,mash,lucas & kuyt.What a poor midfield.No width,no pace,no creativity,not a decent forward pass between them.How can he keep playing mash & lucas?By all means play a defensive midfielder,but play a more creative & attacking midfield player along side him.How difficult is that to understand,rafa?Yossi should have started,not dossena.He take's insua off & brings aurelio on.What's the point,we were losing,we needed a goal.Why not take lucas off & bring ngog on.Bring gerrard back into midfield.All he did was swap like for like.Seven defeat's,not good enough,rafa.Nothing will change until he change's his negative way's & i doubt that will happen.Roy Hodgson anyone?

yeah i'd take Roy Hodgson over the Rafa any day.he's done a bloody good job with Fulham.

Especially today.Nice one roy!At least we'd play decent attacking football.Even with the same squad we've got now.
