Obviously we all know its against the rules for a team/manager to directly approach a player without a clubs permission.
But i have seen reports about Joe Allen and other players in the past supposedly pleading with their current employers for the club to agree to sell them to another club.
so what are the rules around a player, in this case Joe Allen, approaching a manager telling them he wants to leave his current club for the new one?
Random i know, just curious how it works!
