The problem with Downing is that we all can see his potential. There were times last season when he had the bit between his teeth and showed why we signed him. He's a player who works best when he's aggresive and could be one of the best wingers in the world if he had the right mentality cos he has the ability. Unfortunately, he didn't show this last season at all.

Will he fit Rodgers style?? That's what pre-season is for...
Will Liverpool sell him?? I'm sure he's available at the right price just like Andy Carroll.

Happy for him to go tbh, he is not a £20 million pound player and we were mugged off by paying that.

£10 million would have been a good buy.
