With Terry it became a criminal case because a Supporter pressed charges because of what he said and the police had to act on it. the FA decided to wait till after the court case to decide waht action needs to be taken.
Suarez's incident was always "just" a footballing matter for which only the FA had to take action on.
We can only feel "hard done by" if the FA decide to do nothing to Terry based on their rules and not the law of the land.
I think the FA have a responsibilty to the game here and need to make sure that Terry gets at least the same ban as Suarez. If they decide to do nothing based on the court case, then it will definitely be a travesty of justice and could potentially be disastrous to the game of footy.
Having said all that, I personally feel that the FA won't do anything but I'm sincerely hoping to be proved wrong here.
P.S. The up side is Terry's Mom loves Scouse C*ck!!

i dont like going backwards on this issue with suarez but he was guilty he admitted the charge and i do believe things could have been easliy sorted out by dalglish early doors by talking to ferguson and banging a few heads together, but dalglish ballsed it up big time and it escalated due to bad managment .

He admitted using a word in a non racial way, just as Terry has done. if the FA are consistent, they have to ban Terry for 8 games at least, since with Suarez there was at least some doubt surrounding the meaning of the word, not the case here. But like the post above said, I don't think they'll do it. They've got themselves into a mess again at the FA. This was predicted. so calling a person black a few times isnt racist or offensive ? suarez was bang to rights ok the ban a tiny to much but he well deserved a ban , and that nonsense about it ok in his country sorry doesnt wash , as i say in korea people eat dogs but it not ok in england .

Faz, it depends on context. Evra is a black footballer, that's not racist. Adding a pejorative word could make it racist. It's all about context.
But anyway, I am saying both cases are similar, I didn't discuss whether it was racist. Both admitted using a work that could be considered racist. Suarez banned for 8 games, so shouldn't Terry be also? look suarez was guilty and got a ban , i dont understand this revenge tactic from liverpool fans wanting every other player banned , if terry gets banned ok fine if he doesnt then so what , as far as i am concerned and all liverpool fans should be concerned with issues involving liverpool f.c. instead of being obsessed with what happens elsewhere .

But is'nt that just it about Liverpool supporters fazakerley all they ever seem to do is look at everbody else's situation before getting there own houses in order, whose bothered what Terry gets he's no concern of ours and does'nt effect our Club.

Not revenge. It's just fairness isn't it. Every player should be treated the same. The point is he should be banned, not that I want him to. I didn't want Suarez to, I think the whole thing is a nonsense, as Terry's case showed once again. But the FA must be fair. Will they? well fairness who ever talks about fairness if it wasnt suarez you wouldnt be bothered about it .

It's double standards and it's wrong whether it was Suarez or not.
But hey just you keep knocking the club you claim to support.
